Our festive menu is available from Monday 26th November to 30th December 2018 (excluding Christmas Day & Boxing Day & 27th December). A £10 per person deposit is required for tables of 5 or more upon booking. Includes Christmas crackers & novelties.

with thick cut granary bread

with chestnut purée & melted cheese, served with toasted ciabatta

SALMON & COD TERRINE
on a bed of mixed leaves, served with dill mayonnaise & crisp bread

PAN FRIED PIGEON BREAST SALAD
served with cashel blue & walnut salad & caramelised oranges

HAND CARVED BREAST OF TURKEY
with chestnut & apricot stuffing, pigs in blankets, goose fat roast potatoes, roast parsnips, cranberry
sauce & a rich pan gravy

LOIN OF COD WITH A PARMESAN, LIME & CHROIZO CRUST
on a bed of redcurrant refried potatoes served with a creamy fish sauce

SLOW COOKED ROLLED ENGLISH BEEF
slow cooked with roasted shallots for full flavour & served in its own jus with a bubble & squeak cake

PAN FRIED VENISON
cooked medium, this juicy steak is served alongside mulled wine, red cabbage, fondant potatoes with a sloe gin & cranberry demi glaze

WILD MUSHROOM NUT ROAST (V)
homemade nut roast served with roast potatoes & a rich vegetarian gravy

 

All main courses are served with potatoes & fresh seasonal vegetables.

CHRISTMAS PUDDING (V)
a traditional luxury pudding filled with vine fruits & almonds soaked in rum with brandy custard

SALTED CARAMEL PROFITEROLES
filled with crème patisserie & topped with salted caramel sauce

accompanied with a mixed fruit compote
